Goddess Baglamukhi is the symbol of strength, protection & overall success. She is the eighth goddess among the Dus Mahavidyas i.e. wisdom goddesses. In the word Baglamukhi, Bagla is the distortion of the original word Valga meaning bridle. Thus it is believed that Baglamukhi is the Goddess who holds the power to control & also paralyze the enemies. Because of her divine powers, Goddess Bagalamukhi is also known as Devi of Stambhana. As per the iconographic attributes, Goddess Baglamukhi has yellow complexion, two arms & three eyes. She wears gold ornaments, yellow clothes and a garland of yellow flowers. Goddess also wears a crown of crest jewel, crescent moon & her body was anointed with turmeric paste.
